Portage Utah, Home of the Thomas and Margaret John family is located just off of I-15 near the Utah-Idaho border.

The annual meeting of the family organization takes place in Portage on the third Saturday of June each year, as dictated by the Bylaws.

This meeting and organization started in 1883 and has been going on for more than 140 years.
