The Welsh language is one of the only Celtic languages that is not considered to be endangered. There are over Half-a-Million people that still speak it within the country of Wales. It is often considered a difficult language to learn, in fact, the vast majority of Wales cannot speak the language as English has become more and more standardized throughout the world. This is also due to the fact that the younger generations are using it less and less. This does not mean more people are not learning it. On the popular language learning site Duolingo, 1.62 million people are signed up to learn it.
